Place frozen squid into a colander. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 10 hours. Once thawed, rinse under cold running water and drain for approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Alternatively, place frozen squid into a colander and rinse under cold running water for approximately 5 minutes until thawed.
Once thawed, squid can be pan-fried, barbecued or oven-backed.
