We closely watch global and local market trends, and are involved on a daily basis with our customers' requirements. Along with our industry experts we have created contacts locally and overseas to source the freshest and best quality foods for the Australian market to enjoy. Our representatives and managers regularly visit factories to inspect raw material, processing methods and source new product lines.

Storage and Transport

All Markwell Foods products are processed and packed in licensed factories in the highest ISO rated processing plants, complying with the strict requirements of Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

All imported Markwell Foods product is tested and supported into the country with Health and Sanitary Certificates issued by the country of origin. All inbound containers are also subject to a check by FSANZ and AQIS. Samples of product undergo an assortment of testing requirements - these test criteria are amongst the strictest in the world.

All Markwell Foods product is transported using only refrigerated road and rail fleets. While waiting dispatch our product is held in certified cold storage facilities. Orders are randomly probed in the cold store and at delivery to ensure the product is kept at or below -18ºC.

Accreditation

Markwell Foods is a HACCP accredited company and ensures that all its product suppliers and manufacturers, as well as storage facilities also comply with HACCP standards.
